The Veil Duskwing Unlock Requirements
Duskwing requires reaching a threshold of 30 Sins. Offerings do not fulfill this requirement, so build your Sin count to 30 before seeking out Asmodeus.
In addition to the 100 kills, you must bring 1,000 Silver back to The Lone Pillar. Keep this currency ready so you can complete the transaction without an extra farming trip.
| Prerequisite | How to Prepare |
|---|---|
| 30 Sins | Use an Idol of Hatred from Weeping Crypt or defeat players of equal or higher prestige |
| Locate Asmodeus | Find The Lone Pillar landmark, typically visited at night |
| 100 Qualifying Kills | Defeat monsters or gladers to fill the quest tracker |
| 1,000 Silver | Reserve Silver in your inventory for the return hand-in |
Find Asmodeus at The Lone Pillar
Asmodeus stands near The Lone Pillar, an isolated stone structure surrounded by open ground. Approach him—often found during night cycles—and speak with him to begin the Duskwing Class Quest.

Take note of the terrain markers and nearby campfire around The Lone Pillar before setting out to hunt. Having these visual anchors makes returning in the dark straightforward once your 100 kills are done.

Which Kills Count Toward the Duskwing Quest?
The quest calls for defeating 100 targets, defined as monsters or gladers. You do not need to hunt other players—clearing standard PvE monsters in the maze or overworld counts toward the total.

Pick an area with dense mob spawns where you can fight reliably. Verify that your quest tracker increases after your first few kills before settling into a route.
Verify quest is active
Ensure the Duskwing Class Quest displays on your HUD before fighting.
Fight PvE monsters
Clear respawning monsters to fill your 100 kills safely without engaging in PvP combat.
Monitor the counter
Track your kills until the tracker reaches 100/100 and updates to the return step.
Return to The Lone Pillar
Head back to Asmodeus as soon as the objective directs you to deliver the Silver payment.
Return to The Lone Pillar with Silver
Once you reach 100 kills, the quest directs you back to Asmodeus at The Lone Pillar with 1,000 Silver. The quest reward panel lists the Duskwing Class alongside 500 Ichor.
Speak with Asmodeus and confirm the hand-in. If the dialogue still refers to kills, verify that your quest log shows the kill objective completed and that you have at least 1,000 Silver in your inventory.
Complete the Handshake & Equip Duskwing
Interact with Asmodeus to complete the final handshake dialogue. The 1,000 Silver fee is deducted, the reward panel displays Duskwing Class with 500 Ichor, and the Class Quest Complete confirmation appears.
Open your character Information screen to equip Duskwing. Test your new shadow abilities in a safe area, then decide whether to run Duskwing as a pure class or integrate its skills into a hybrid setup.
