The Veil Waypoint Travel & Navigation Controls
Fast travel across The Veil map operates between discovered Waypoint Obelisks. You must interact with an Obelisk in person to register its node before you can teleport to it. The September 6 patch set the travel cooldown to 60 seconds, so plan your transit points carefully.
When orienting yourself on The Veil map, click the central Quest Gem icon on your HUD to toggle a large directional guidance arrow pointing toward your active objective. Carrying a Radar or Life Form Analyzer in your inventory bag adds a dedicated readout directly beside the server leaderboard to aid navigation.
While moving between zones on The Veil map, gamepad players can press and hold R3 to toggle Shift Lock. To cycle equipped weapons while traveling, hold LT (Left Trigger) and press the shoulder bumpers (LB or RB).

The Veil Map: Boss Arenas & Main Quest Destinations
To reach the Fire Essence quest on The Veil map, head into The Scorch Basin. This volcanic area connects to Bobby's task to deliver Fire Essence and receive the Smoldering Horn needed for Smelter Demon.
To locate Puppeteer on The Veil map, head to the maze entrance with the broken wooden carriage on the left and navigate to Crumbling Ring during the night cycle. For deep-maze bosses like Stormcaller and Smelter Demon, ensure you arrive at night to shatter Thunder Quartz or blow the Smoldering Horn.
Find the Pale Manor on The Veil Map
When your Main Quest instructs you to 'Find the manor the Pale grew around,' locate the marked manor structure on The Veil map and approach the exterior door until an Interact prompt appears.
If your route across The Veil map is aimed at resetting a Weapon Mastery oath, Kharvos is located on the second floor of a manor structure.
