Reach Sky Island via Shimmering Sanctum

Sky’s Reach sits high above the mainland and is commonly called Sky Island. Registering the waypoint on arrival is your first priority so you can return directly to Cyrus without taking the transport route again.

The Veil Sky Sentinel Unlock Requirements

Sky Sentinel aligns with Offerings. Sins do not contribute toward Cyrus’s requirement, so verify your totals under Information before making the ascent.

Do not begin hunting Nimbus mobs before speaking with Cyrus. Only kills registered while the Sky Sentinel quest is active in your log count toward completion.

Hunt Angry Nimbus in the Rain

Angry Nimbus appears in the Glade during rainy weather. Monitor server conditions, and when rain begins, search the open grassy clearings of the Glade for floating cloud-like enemies.

Focus on your targets and check your quest counter after your first kill to confirm it registers. Weather cycles can end, so eliminate your five targets promptly without getting distracted by unrelated mobs.

Checklist for the Angry Nimbus Hunt

Player reports vary regarding Nimbus spawns during daytime rain versus night rain. Treat rain as the essential condition rather than expecting a guaranteed spawn timer. Once you reach 5/5 kills, return to Cyrus at Sky’s Reach to complete your unlock.

Sky Sentinel Abilities & Summon Synergy

Sky Sentinel provides defensive support for summoners, featuring healing pulses and protective auras that help keep minions alive during boss encounters. It pairs naturally with summoning weapons and Summoning Mastery.

Minion limits depend on your weapon and equipped gear rather than the class alone. For instance, demonstrated five-summon builds rely on specific gear combinations, while weapons enforce their own caps (such as the Imp Staff capped at 2 summons). Sky Sentinel enhances minion survivability within the limits of your equipped weapon.

Developers announced upcoming balance tuning for Sky Sentinel. Check official patch notes and inspect your current in-game ability cards for the latest values when planning your build.

Quick answers

Does Angry Nimbus only spawn during rainy nights?

The documented route relies on rain in the Glade. While players discuss day and night spawn differences, rain is the key weather condition.

Does Sky Sentinel automatically give you five summons?

No. The five-summon setup was achieved using a specific full gear loadout. Individual weapons also set their own summon limits (such as the Imp Staff capped at 2).
